Jack Hodges is a multimedia artist based on Gumbaynggirr Country in Nambucca Heads, NSW, working across painting, sculpture, video, installation and public engagement. He is interested in everyday aesthetics, local culture, and the deeper truths revealed through irony and imperfection.

Hodges challenges everyday assumptions to offer some understanding of individual and collective actions around themes of coercion, convention, coexistence and status, particularly in relation to decision-making.

Hodges completed a Master of Community Development in 2020, informing his use of problemposing methods to generate dialogue and reinterpret public interactions into artworks.
