Oliver Hull works across digital media, sculpture and installation. He is interested in the poetic and political properties of images and computation and their relationship to time, nature and landscape. His work usually begins with research into places or events where these categories knit, often using digital tools to track, model, simulate and sense as techniques to draw out the political and/or poetic within the subject matter.

Hull has participated in solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally in institutional, artist run, online and offsite settings. Hull has exhibited widely in Australia and internationally since 2013. Recent solo exhibitions include Confusion Matrix, Goolugatup Heathcote, Perth (2024); Green River, scatalogicalritesofallnations, London (2023); Random Cube, Disneyland Paris, Perth (2023); Mullaloo and Magnus, Kings Artist Run,Melbourne (2023). Recent Selected institutional exhibitions include Moveable Types at Kunstinstituut Melly (2020), As Above, So Below at ISEA 2024, QUT Art Museum (2024). He has upcoming exhibitions at CAVES and Counihan Gallery and is a finalist in the Darebin Art Prize.
