Bryan Foong (he/him/they) is a queer artist of Chinese-Malaysian heritage on unceded Ngunnawal and Ngambri Country. They make writing and painting installations that examine the processes of territorialisation and colonisation within contemporary biopolitics. Foong is a graduate from theANU School of Art and Design with a background in biology and clinical medicine. They have shown work at Drill Hall Gallery (Kamberi/ACT), Tributary Projects (Kamberi/ACT), SNO (Bulanaming/Sydney) and Blindside Gallery (Naarm/Melbourne).
Angus McGrath (he/him/they) is an artist, writer, and performer living and working on unceded Gadigal Land. His work is about the limits of text, the limits of the body, and suburban failure. McGrath is currently undertaking a Masters of Fine Arts at UNSW about queer readings of the under-defined “closet screenplay” literary style. He has just completed a performance at Carriageworks for Vivid and Soft Centre under his musical moniker California Girls.
