Harry Bridges-Webb
Harry’s practice engages with sound as an exploration of hidden systems to explore and understand our relationship to universal ephemeral constants such as time, the soul, the self, and social interconnections. She works with the material of sound as a relational and multisensory phenomenon, a ‘Post-Music’ treatment in which the sonic signal transcends the auditory to become a link between media, the body, and the social. Harry is a current MFA candidate at the National Art School, with notable works being acquired by the City of Sydney and featured in the NAS Artists Book prize. Her solo show, “touchgrass.wav” , opens at Airspace Projects with a performance on May 7th.
