Nicholas Aloisio-Shearer is a Sydney based artist working in performance, photography and digital processes. His practice is concerned with contemporary conditions of labour, play and time. His recent work has involved the deconstruction and examination of video game assets in abstracted physical and digital forms. He has recently exhibited in Enduring Parallels at The Lock-Up art space, Newcastle; Life is Hard at Firstdraft and cocurated My Feet Would Hurt If They Still Existed at Alaska Projects. Aloisio-Shearer graduated with honours from a Bachelor of Design in Photography and Situated Media at UTS in 2014.
