Prita Tina Yeganeh

Prita Tina Yeganeh is a multidisciplinary artist of Iranian ancestry, based in Magan-djin (Brisbane), Queensland. Prita draws from her lived experiences as a refugee, blending them with her practice based research of heritage artisan crafts to share narratives of displacement, reconciliation and cultural reclamation.

Yeganeh graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering in 2010 and a Cert 3 in Applied Fashion and Design from Tafe Queensland.

Yeganeh has exhibited in regional and commercial galleries across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, with significant solo exhibitions including ‘The Making of Mohammadi’, Northern Rivers Community Gallery, Ballina, NSW (2023), and ‘In VISIBLE Colour’, House Conspiracy ARI, Brisbane, QLD (2023). She has participated in a number of residencies and mentorships with Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, T Projects, Studio24 and ArtsCoast, among others.
