Sarah Poulgrain is a Brisbane based artist who works across video installation, ceramics, sewing, animation and audio production. Her practice is motivated by a desire to better understand experiences of shame, she approaches skill sharing as a means for self-empowerment.
Sarah completed a Bachelor of Fine Art (Honours) at Queensland College of Art in 2015. She has exhibited at Rm (Auckland, Aotearoa), Success (WA), Bus Projects (VIC), Boxcopy (QLD), Visual Bulk (TAS), Metro Arts (QLD) and as a part of SafARI 2016 (NSW). She is the co-founder of Wreckers Artspace: a gallery, studio and workshop in the former Brisbane Bike Wreckers building.
