Inspired by works shown at Firstdraft over the past few years ‘THE FINAL EDIT: Tech-Know Natures’ aims to blur the divide between our current world order of binaries and hierarchies, where technology reigns supreme over the natural world… in service of capital and greed. What we understand today as the ‘natural world’ has always afforded us technology, and yet we live in a time where the two are understood as seperate, even pitted against one another. How can we come to have a more fluid understanding of the animate and inanimate? Manifest a deeper relationship between the material and immaterial worlds? To live in an ecology of sustenance? These are OUR present day questions!
