"My colleague James and I recently came across the site of the old Bidura Children’s Court in Glebe, and in 2020 we are investigating this site as a basis for a work entitled Danger/Dancer. This project encompasses a series of experimental ‘first flush’ responses to this building and the rich context surrounding it. These texts will serve as the first output of experimental writings capturing the strong visceral, psychosomatic reactions I have to this site. Danger/Dancer will be an important and highly personal undertaking for both James and myself, examining Australia’s legacy of institutions and the continuing operation of these fraught systems today."a
