Zi Qin is a multidisciplinary Chinese-Australian artist based in Sydney. With living experiences in both countries, Qin works with constructional materials that are commonly found in an urban environment and depicts a surveillant relationship between citizens and the city. While the industrial objects are formed into various experimental illusions, Qin recontextualises them into an image of dystopian nature.
