Tabitha Lean

Tabitha is a First Nations woman born, raised and living on Kaurna yerta. Tabitha is a multi-disciplinary artist who is a published poet, writer, spoken word and visual artist. Tabitha’s work explores the tension between the new and old worlds, and the spaces in between. She believes that who we are and what we are comes from the alchemy of our struggles, and all of her work, from her poetry, to her pyrography, painting, printing and weaving seeks to honour the old, while traversing the present to carve out a future that holds within it both possibility and promise.
