Zeinab Mahfoud, a Lebanese-Australian artist, activist, and humanitarian, holds a Master's degree in Disaster, Design, and Community Development. While based in Australia, Zeinab dedicated herself to community development work with refugees, migrants, and First Nations communities. Simultaneously, her creative pursuits in analog photography delved into themes of identity, People of Colour representation, and diversity in Australia.

Zeinab's commitment to amplifying unheard voices is evident in her solo exhibition 'Heart of Heritage' and collaborative projects like 'From the Heavens to the Earth' with iYouth Gallipoli, as well as the video art piece 'What's the Occasion,' which explores traditional dress in Western Sydney. Notably, she was commissioned by the NSW Government for the 'Front Yard Stories' photography collection, showcasing the diverse tapestry of Western Sydney.

Zeinab has since relocated to Lebanon, where she has shifted her focus to preserving life and stories of South Lebanon through documentary filmmaking and analog photography. Among her latest works are 'Granddaughter of the Olive Tree,' a photography collection, 'For the Flowers of Palestine, ' mixed media visual arts, 'Beirut / 2023,' a two-part collage, and her first short film, 'Yaroun 2023’ which has been screened across Europe, Canada, Australia, and Lebanon.
