Amy Jane Parker (b.1990, Narrm/ Melbourne) is an artist currently living on the unceded lands of the Palawa people in nipaluna/ Hobart. Her sculptural practice considers how affective energies are passed between and indexed within earthly matter. Her work currently reflects upon the idea of empathy as entanglement, articulated through a fragmented language hinged upon allegory and material.
Recent and only solo exhibitions include elslelslelslelslelslelslelslelslelslelslelslelslelslelse (running else) at Punk Café (2017) and Blank Verse at TCB Art inc. (2017).
