Biljana Jancic is a Sydney artist whose work consists mainly of spatial interventions. Over the past ten years she has exhibited work in a range of spaces in Sydney and further afield. Recent solo shows from 2013 were ‘Opposed’, Lock Up Cultural Centre, Newcastle and ‘Trap’ at Institute of Contemporary Art Newtown (ICAN). In 2013 she also exhibited work in a number of group exhibitions including Black Square: 100 Years, Australian Experimental Art Foundation, Adelaide, Look This Way, UTS Gallery, University of Technology Sydney and Full Court Press, (Curated by Sebastian Goldspink) Artereal Gallery, Sydney. In 2014 her work was exhibited in the St. Jerome's Laneway Festival, Sydney and Conquest of Space (Curated by Andrew Frost) COFA Galleries. Jancic studied at the Sydney College of the Arts where she completed a PhD in 2012.
