Katie Belgiorno-Nettis

Katie is a trained commercial intellectual property (IP) lawyer with experience in both the corporate and not-for-profit sectors. Katie established her legal career at Herbert Smith Freehills specialising in corporate transactions with an IP focus, whilst also gaining experience providing pro bono legal services to not-for-profit organisations.

She is currently a member of the Art Gallery of NSW’s Atelier Advisory Council. Katie is also a visual artist-in-training, honing her skills in oil painting, and a dedicated mother to her two young girls.

Katie has a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Art History and Media Communications, and a Juris Doctor from Melbourne Law School.
