Board Member

Ngayu niliwal Georgia Mokak, and I am a proud Djugun woman from Broome, gular Kimberley region. I grew up on Ngunnawal and Ngambri Country, and am very grateful to be welcomed as a visitor to Wangal and Gadigal Country for the past three years. My community informs everything about my practice in the arts, including my role here at Firstdraft as part of the Board of Directors. Outside of my commitment to Firstdraft, I am the First Nations Engagement Coordinator at the National Association for the Visual Arts, Lead Artist Educator at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Creative Producer and First Nations Engagement at Irregular Fit and a freelance writer/editor/producer/curator/consultant.
