Zachariah Fenn
Zachariah Fenn is a multi-disciplinary artist with over 10 years of professional art industry experience specialising in art installing, fine art logistics and art mentoring - supporting artists living with disabilities.
His conceptual art practice involves reinterpreting contemporary urban imagery and materiality to create a social commentary addressing our fast-paced, capitalist-fuelled society. In his practice he adopts the raw materials of urban life – found and discarded street signage and car parts – and paints & draws graphic depictions of heavy service vehicles in order to capture the pace and frenetic energy of the city.
Fenn is a practicing artist who studied Sculpture, Performance and Installation at UNSW Art & Design, graduating with a BFA (Honours) in 2015. He has consistently exhibited in multiple group exhibitions and prizes around Sydney and interstate since 2011. He worked as an Art Handler with International Art Services between 2014-2017 and as an Art Installer since 2018, both for private collectors and public art galleries. In July 2024 Zachariah Fenn held his first solo art exhibition, ‘Roadworks’ at Grace Cossington Smith Gallery (Abbotsleigh). Fenn has worked long-term as an art facilitator at Studio ARTES Northside (2016 - present) and has recently commenced working as an Art Assistant for Abbotsleigh Senior School Visual Arts Department (2024 - present).
Zachariah Fenn is a founding member of Little Umbrella Collective.
