Join Firstdraft for the August/September exhibition openings!

Join us from 6-8 pm, for the opening of four new exhibitions including 3 solo exhibitions by Sue Jo Wright, Jingwei Bu, Belinda Yee and a group exhibition with Mitchell Davis, David Horton and Martin John Oldfield.

We will also have an opening performance at 7 pm by artist Jingwei Bu. Jingwei will perform during the opening event to bring a final gesture to the installation. The performance unfolds in two parts: the first is a silent, object-less reenactment of a traditional tea ceremony: a meditative retrial focusing on gesture and presence. The second part involves the pouring of a jar of tea from above onto the paper tower, marking a release and transformation within the work. The total lenth of the performance is about 15 minutes long.
