Harry de Vries is an artist and researcher. His practice is situated between copies, reflections, and mimics of everyday life which he makes through casting and digital reproduction. He is particularly concerned with the substructures of colonial Australia and how their material legacies can be re-tooled to access the immaterial, cloud-based manifestations of power in the contemporary world. He holds a BfA and MfA from the National Art School, Sydney.
