Please join us at Firstdraft for the second of our 2014 panel discussions: Firstdraft Forums | The Administrator.

We ask what happens when administration and the arts meet? Why does the role of the arts administrator exist, what does it do and who does it serve? Is it a necessary evil or an essential facilitation? A mutually beneficial relationship or an institutional encroachment that takes funds away from artists themselves?

In an industry caught between the market and the state, we discuss what future the administrator and/or the artist may create independent of these forces.
