Jent Do
Jent Do is a Narrm-based multidisciplinary artist working across interactive new media, sculpture, and performance. Their work concerns world-building based on their Vietnamese heritage through the sci-fi lens of a non-binary person growing up on the internet. They utilise digital and generative methods such as 3D, creative coding, and AI to discuss posthumanism, cyberfeminism, subculture, and cosmic horror, in relation to diasporic and gender nonconforming experiences. In 2023, they attained a Bachelor of Fine Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (Chicago, IL, US) with a focus on Art and Technology and Visual Communication. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Fine Art at RMIT. Their works have been exhibited at Bus Projects, FortyfiveDownstairs, Sol Gallery (Melbourne, VIC), Door 84 (Brisbane, QLD), John David Mooney Foundation (Chicago, IL, USA). They were a finalist at FortyfiveDownstairs 2025 Emerging Artist Award, and they attended the Level Up Residency 2024 (Gold Coast, QLD).
