Each of Arunan’s farm scenes feature a stable of animals, usually centred around a horse eating a banana from a banana tree. From here the scenes expand ever-outwards, as Arunan fills the space with all manner of agricultural life. The title for each artwork contains clues about the details and animals that make each farm scene unique. Certain animals and plants appear in certain seasons or times of day. Arunan’s farm continues to grow and expand with each new depiction, with each new season. He is telling us his story - a story for all to enjoy.
